1. How did it all start, I was told you girls got sick of watching your boyfriends and husbands play and decided to create your own team. It was a mixture of wanting to get out there and play ourselves, getting fit and having fun. 2. Whose idea was it and who was there on the ground floor. It was everyone's idea to get involved in soccer it was just a matter of initiating the idea, once I sent an email around, the ball started rolling... from there friends of friends sms'n, phone calls/more emails/word of mouth... 3. Have the boys been a help or a hindrance (so far) The boys have been an excellent help and support, with their help and commitment we are developing our skills and knowledge to bend it better then Beckham. 4. What did they have to say when you first mentioned it Pretty keen to get involved and support us actually, of course they had there odd little heckle but boys will be boys. J 5. Was it much effort to get it to happen Hah hah hah, yes!!!!!!! At first we would get the numbers, then we would get pull outs, then hear of others keen, then more pull outs, ahhh it was very nail biting at one stage...then it all started flowing with Kieran and Kate changing to Umina from Southern - Dawn, Carol, Beth, Vanessa, Denika, Ashley and Lorrie joining Tina, Amanda, Leah, Kristy and Myself to make our AAW3J
6. Who in the club was of help getting it to happen? It began from Peter Gibbs who forwarded myself Greg Steels details from Greg I was forwarded your details. From there it was tags of emails and phone calls between Greg and yourself, you have both been an excellent help and without that help and support we would not have achieved where our team is at today. (Thankyou) 7. Now that the team is up and going, is it what you expected. Definitely if not better J 8. 1 win and 1 loss - how does that make you and the team feel seeing as though you have only played two real games so far. Ecstatic!!!!!!!! We are all stoked. 9. One of the girls has now score two goals in two match’s, there was a bit of ribbing that her boyfriend/husband still has not scored any goals this season, your comments? Hah hah go Dawn...... 10. You got clobbered a couple of times in the East Gosford game, has that changed your opinion of ladies soccer. Not at all, it's all part of the game. We are all out there to play the game and have fun. If you get clobbered you get clobbered it's not a personal attack its soccer...it happens! 11. You all seem to get along well on and off the field, are most of you friends without soccer. Were all friends, some new some have been friends for years......:-)
12. Anything else you wish to talk about, soccer or not. hmmmmm live it and love it....no regrets....
